We often talk about five senses which are: Taste , Touch, Smell, Sight and Hearing.
We make use of these senses to make sense of the world around us. Children, right from birth, make use of these senses to learn about things around them. Providing opportunities for children to actively use their senses as they explore their world through sensory activities is crucial to brain development.
